Where water damage starts
Most homes here are concrete block on a slab, with the AC running all year. That changes where the water comes from and where it ends up. Pick a number to see how we handle it.
How it works
It's our motto and the order we work in: stop the damage, dry the structure, then put the property back the way it was, with a record of every step.
01 Respond
Stop the damage from spreading.
We answer 24/7. We walk you through shutting off the water and power to wet areas, then schedule a crew.
Meters and thermal imaging show where the water went, including inside walls and under flooring. Starting conditions are photographed.
02 Recover
Get the water out and the structure dry.
Extraction removes the bulk of the water fast, which shortens drying time more than anything else.
Air movers and dehumidifiers are set for the space. We take readings every day and adjust until materials reach the dry standard.
03 Restore
Return the property to pre-loss condition.
Affected areas are cleaned and treated. Materials that could not be saved are replaced.
You get the photos, moisture logs, and itemized scope your adjuster needs, so the claim is supported by records.
Why Restoration USA
A wall can feel dry and still be wet inside. We measure, log, and keep drying until every material matches the dry standard, then hand you the record.
We compare wet materials to unaffected ones and keep drying until they match. You see the readings every day.
Block walls, slab floors, tile, and condo towers dry differently from the wood-frame houses most drying guides assume.
Dated photos, moisture maps, equipment logs, and an itemized scope. Claims move faster when the evidence is organized.
From a single AC closet overflow to multi-unit losses in a tower, with coordination for associations and property managers.
Reviews
This company is absolutely nothing short of amazing! John listens and hears what the needs are and makes sure you feel as important as the next job. They are professional, on time and very catering to the clients needs and time. I have used them for years with 2 different houses. They take the time to walk you through the process and spend time even after in order to make you feel comfortable. They are extremely professional and I feel safe having them in my home. They treated my house as if it was their own. They ensure your family is safe and that is the most important thing. I would highly recommend this company.
Grateful for James and his team! They did an outstanding job helping my elderly father whose living room had gotten wet due to weather conditions! Fast, detailed, and professional, with a caring spirit!!! Would highly recommend Restoration USA!! Great job again!!!
These guys are AWESOME. We had a huge flood in our house and they handled everything from packing up our contents, drying out our home and restoring our home like nothing ever happened. They were very professional and brought our home back to normal in the time that they promised and we agreed on. I highly recommend them for all your restoration needs. Cheers

Insurance
You own the claim and talk to your adjuster. We make sure the adjuster has what they need to make a decision: what happened, what got wet, and how it was dried. For covered claims, we bill your insurance company directly.
Carriers we've worked with: Citizens Property Insurance, Universal Property & Casualty, Tower Hill Insurance, State Farm, Allstate, USAA, and many more.
Coverage decisions belong to your insurer and depend on your policy. Florida does not allow assignment of benefits on property policies issued on or after January 1, 2023, so you stay in control of your claim.

FAQ
Have a question we didn't cover? Call (954) 289-0566 to speak with a restoration specialist, available 24/7.
More questions and answersShut off the water at the fixture or the main valve, and turn off power to any room where water is near outlets or cords. Move valuables, electronics, and rugs out of the wet area, and put foil or plastic under furniture legs on wet carpet. Take photos before you move anything. Do not use a household vacuum on water.
It depends on how much material got wet, the category of water, and how long it sat. A contained clean-water leak caught early costs far less than a contaminated loss that spread for days. We give you a scope after the inspection, and when the loss is covered, most of the cost typically goes through your insurance claim minus your deductible.
Most policies cover sudden and accidental water damage such as a burst pipe or an appliance overflow. Gradual leaks and rising floodwater are commonly excluded, and flood needs a separate flood policy. Your policy and adjuster make the coverage decision; we provide the documentation they ask for.
In Florida, you generally have the right to choose your own contractor. Read your policy, because some policies include managed repair programs with their own rules. Either way, you can call us to stop the damage right away.
Most residential water losses dry in three to five days after extraction. Dense materials such as hardwood, plaster, and concrete block, or contaminated water, can take longer. We decide drying is finished based on readings, not on a set number of days.
We serve homes and businesses across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. See the service areas page for the cities we cover most often, or call to confirm availability for your address.
